Subject: Oops msg...
Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2001 20:00:35 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <000901c1909b$18d530c0$0264a8c0@betty> (raw)

Hi,
I recieved random oops messages from the 2.4.17 kernel and I've debugged
them... but I don't quite get the output so I decided to send them here. If
someone could explain this for me I would be glad, I am not subscribed to
this list so please reply to my E-Mail address rickard@refused.net

DEBUG (convert_uname): /lib/modules/*r/ in
DEBUG (convert_uname): /lib/modules/2.4.17/ out
ksymoops 2.4.3 on i586 2.4.17. Options used
     -V (default)
     -k /proc/ksyms (default)
     -l /proc/modules (default)
     -o /lib/modules/2.4.17/ (default)
     -m /usr/src/linux/System.map (default)

Warning: You did not tell me where to find symbol information. I will
assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running
right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution.
If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get
more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find
map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
