Subject: ptrace patch
Date: Thu, 20 Mar 2003 15:14:21 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <001d01c2eeeb$02112b00$2265a8c0@dirtyentw> (raw)

FYI:
The ptrace patch at
http://www.hardrock.org/kernel/2.4.20/linux-2.4.20-ptrace.patch does not
seem to work.
I tried the exploit at http://sinuspl.net/ptrace/isec-ptrace-kmod-exploit.c
on a machine running the patched kernel and it still brought up a root
shell.
