As I saw it... There is no modversions.h created while trying to
compile the kernel on an alpha... I'll take a look at this in
a few hours (after sleeping... :-) ).

Have you ever ended this discussion??? I only mean
you two. Because I havn't found a reply from Thunder
to Martin...
