I agree on it. It seems to be better than two hot key !
I'll change this patch based on your comment.

Arnaldo, what do you think about this ?

   On annotate TUI browser
   hot key: 't'
   circulating: "Percent" -> "Sample" -> "Period" -> "Percent" -> ...
