'which' might not be installed.  Don't about 'ldd'.

Maybe 'perf version --build-options' can be used instead e.g.

$ perf version --build-options | grep -i libpython | grep -vi off
             libpython: [ on  ]  # HAVE_LIBPYTHON_SUPPORT
