Same configuration, same kernel. This seems to be TCP network related. I can push hundreds of megabytes over NFS / UDP and have no problem. But when the nightly backup starts at which does heavy CPU (gzip), network (well, streaming with 1 MBit/sec) and disk I/O (reading the data to back up from the disk), the machine seems to freeze. Am I really the only one seeing this?
