I have two oops while booting my Ibook rev2.2 under Linux.
One is from ieee1394, the second from devfs.

It doesn't seem to be a problem for the box to run,
using an external sbp2 disk.
I've had a 24 hours uptime with no special problem.
I'm running the 2.6.0-test2 linuxppc kernel.
I checked, and I saw no difference in ieee1394 and
devfs between linuxppc and vanilla kernel.
I'm working on it now, remote from a PC,
compiling... for hours and runs like a charm :=)

You'll find dmesg ouput and .config attached.
