[1] I/O Performance very low (think of 229kb/sec for read and write with putc / getc) if highmem is on. [2] System with 2GB Ram and an Escalade 7000 ATA-Raid (Mirroring) on a P4 2.8 HT (Prescott). As soon as i enable HighMem the I/O drops down. with highmem disabled the i/o has expected results. I tryed different kernels (2.4.20, 2.4.24-2.4.26, 2.6.4 and 2.6.5) all with the same result.
