Hi Robert.

How about the phrase "GCC's statement expression extension"
or maybe give a link like:
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Statement-Exprs.html

Please put the opening ({ and closing )} on a single line.
It's shorter and makes grep easier.
