Subject: when is overriding idebus safe?
Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2001 17:20:38 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20010124172038.A1431@jhereg.dmeyer.net> (raw)
The kernel always says:
ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx
at boot time. How would I know if it's safe to say idebus=66? The
documentation is fairly vague on this.
Thanks,
Dave
