Unfortunately, neither 2.4.22 work (as described above), and for some reason the pcmcia/cardbus driver locks up my system (I found this by stripping out everything and slowly adding stuff back 'till it broke) without an error that I can find in 2.6.0. :( Any assistance you can provide would be extremely helpful.
