OkOk. Nearly nothing. Exept emerging alsa 0.9.8, reconfigure a 2.4.18-pre8 (works fine) to 2.6.0-test9, digging around to make the USB-mouse working (yupp!), but failed to enable alsa. So i leaved the machine running for the next try. After wakeup (myself) i see that the laptop is running at nearby 100% cpu. So i tried to kill process to process... and klaptopdeamon is still not killable. dmesg does not change: lidl ~ # dmesg Linux version 2.6.0-test9 (root@lidl.net4u.de) (gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r1, propolice)) #4 Tue Oct 28 03:07:48 CET 2003 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009f000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009f000 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000c0000 - 00000000000d0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000e0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 000000001fef0000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000001fef0000 - 000000001feff000 (ACPI data) BIOS-e820: 000000001feff000 - 000000001ff00000 (ACPI NVS) BIOS-e820: 000000001ff00000 - 0000000020000000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 00000000fffc0000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) 512MB LOWMEM available.
