describes _some_ particular cases... among the over
100,000,000,000 factors involved are:
1. fs type (block-size, etc) // not sure on this one
:-(
2. number of processors
3. nature of processes // they are relatively vague on
this one
4. kernel configuration (they mentioned about
2.6.12-rc2 or something) but then again, they didn't
post their kernel .config (maybe it's a fedora stock
.config, maybe not...)
...
...
...
etc
And even then, to draw the line at 7% sounds more like
a quick and dirty conclusion (@ least 2 me)...
