Subject: [PATCH 6/13] KVM: memory slot management
Date: Mon, 23 Oct 2006 13:30:36 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20061023133036.9F3C9250143@cleopatra.q> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <453CC390.9080508@qumranet.com>
kvm defines memory in "slots", more or less corresponding to the DIMM slots.
this allows us to:
- avoid the VGA hole at 640K
- add a pci framebuffer at runtime
- hotplug memory
