It can be used for time display and timed alarm generation. This series aims to provide complete DT bindings, but the drivers are only focusing on RTC implementation. Possible Power Management and remoteproc can be implemented later (hence the RTC driver is using syscon, because MMIO space is really interleaved among different functions).
