Subject: [PATCH 7/9] checkpatch: Deprecate rcu_read_{,un}lock_trace()
Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2025 15:06:57 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20251102230659.3906740-7-paulmck@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <a1e505e4-931b-45cf-8ca7-337442aa598e@paulmck-laptop>
Uses of rcu_read_lock_trace() and rcu_read_unlock_trace()
are better served by the new rcu_read_lock_tasks_trace() and
rcu_read_unlock_tasks_trace() APIs. Therefore, mark the old APIs as
deprecated.
