Subject: [PATCH RFC v2 23/24] drm: drm_hotplug_helper: new helper to implement bridge hotplug
Date: Thu, 01 Oct 2026 14:42:45 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261001-drm-bridge-hotplug-v2-23-8e34986dcb68@bootlin.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261001-drm-bridge-hotplug-v2-0-8e34986dcb68@bootlin.com>
Add a new helper to support cards implementing hotpluggable drm_bridges.
drmm_hotplug_helper_init() registers to get notified of relevant events and
react by creating a bridge (if the pipeline is complete in the hardware)
and destroying it on bridge removal.
