Subject: [PATCH v2 5/8] drm/msm: Always use component model for standalone GPU
Date: Fri, 30 Oct 2026 22:39:26 +0530 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261030-gmu-sync-state-fix-v2-5-89d3082d97af@oss.qualcomm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261030-gmu-sync-state-fix-v2-0-89d3082d97af@oss.qualcomm.com>
To prepare for adding the GMU as a peer component, turn the GPU pdev into
both a component master and the sole component of itself in this path.
A follow up patch will introduce GMU as a component device.
