Subject: [PATCH v10 10/15] drm/nouveau: add connector luminance support
Date: Mon, 02 Nov 2026 10:49:26 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261102-superm1-backlight-property-v10-10-b2a6f24131f5@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261102-superm1-backlight-property-v10-0-b2a6f24131f5@kernel.org>

From: Mario Limonciello <mario.limonciello@amd.com>

Expose Nouveau panel brightness through the connector LUMINANCE property
when DRM_LUMINANCE is enabled. Reuse the existing NV40, NV50, and DPCD
hardware paths while preserving the backlight class interface otherwise.
