The .config is attached.  The machine works fine with stock RH 7.1
kernel.

When it hangs, ctrl-alt-del does not work, and the last time, the
HD light was on solid.  It hangs right after entering 'interactive'
mode when setting up the keymap, but sometimes it gets one or two
steps farther.

Any ideas?
