Great, I'll send the config and will be happy
to supply and and all info -

I unpacked a fresh source, applied patches,
(no errors, only some fuzz), copied the config
and typed "make oldconfig", then the usual
make dep bzlilo modules modules_install.

This also happened on a 2nd try after make
mrproper. Note that I see the problem only
with the tux patch, not mainline 2.4.15-pre -
