Patches applied cleanly to 2.6.7-rc3-mm1 - compiled without error - 
running o.k.

See attached and note that the patches from William Lee Irwin III fixed 
the compile problem. Seems to be running o.k.

And re "how hard is this?": easy for you, difficult for me - I have a 
lot to learn!
