Hi Dave, I am running 3.2.0 with kmemleak enabled. I just observed the below reports, which seem cpufreq related. I got the top one a couple of minutes after resuming from sleep (from ram), and the second about an hour later. I am using acpi_cpufreq as a module. Don't hesitate to ask for any other information that could be useful . With kind regards, Wouter Koolen unreferenced object 0xffff880071ab9dc0 (size 32): comm "modprobe", pid 1955, jiffies 4294899715 (age 19825.880s) hex dump (first 32 bytes): 63 70 75 66 72 65 71 00 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a cpufreq.ZZZZZZZZ 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a 5a a5 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. backtrace: [] kmemleak_alloc+0x21/0x50 [] __kmalloc_track_caller+0x12e/0x240 [] kstrdup+0x3d/0x70 [] sysfs_new_dirent+0x2c/0x120 [] create_dir+0x3d/0xd0 [] sysfs_create_dir+0x7b/0xc0 [] kobject_add_internal+0xb8/0x210 [] kobject_init_and_add+0x63/0x90 [] cpufreq_add_dev_interface+0x4a/0x370 [] cpufreq_add_dev+0x368/0x5f0 [] sysdev_driver_register+0xbe/0x150 [] cpufreq_register_driver+0x7f/0x1a0 [] __hidp_copy_session+0x2/0x210 [hidp] [] do_one_initcall+0x3b/0x170 [] sys_init_module+0xbb/0x230 [] system_call_fastpath+0x16/0x1b unreferenced object 0xffff880071a7d640 (size 176): comm "modprobe", pid 1955, jiffies 4294899715 (age 19825.880s) hex dump (first 32 bytes): 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ backtrace: [] kmemleak_alloc+0x21/0x50 [] kmem_cache_alloc+0xda/0x1f0 [] sysfs_new_dirent+0x4c/0x120 [] create_dir+0x3d/0xd0 [] sysfs_create_dir+0x7b/0xc0 [] kobject_add_internal+0xb8/0x210 [] kobject_init_and_add+0x63/0x90 [] cpufreq_add_dev_interface+0x4a/0x370 [] cpufreq_add_dev+0x368/0x5f0 [] sysdev_driver_register+0xbe/0x150 [] cpufreq_register_driver+0x7f/0x1a0 [] __hidp_copy_session+0x2/0x210 [hidp] [] do_one_initcall+0x3b/0x170 [] sys_init_module+0xbb/0x230 [] system_call_fastpath+0x16/0x1b [] 0xffffffffffffffff
