So the kernel crash I encountered on my 2-socket Ivy Bridge Xeon E5-2697v2 server was this one (sorry for the low
quality screenshot), within function RIP: 0010:exra_is_visible+0x14/0x20
https://www.peters-netzplatz.de/download/Kernel_Panic_6.6.160-rc1.jpg
I bisected the issue, and this was the first bad commit:
# first bad commit: [7c1e132b0967210526de05e7af6f1c26ad0c1516] sysfs: Introduce a mechanism to hide static attribute_groups
which is upstream commit [d87c295f599cab2ab3b3df53a9098adba4a6002b].
I think the problem is, that if you take this patch for stable, you need to also take the patch which is upstream [
cd69fedf58f8ab1ab511f7c6ac1969cebf1c935f] sysfs: Fix crash on empty group attributes array. It addresses the exact crash
that I've run into.
Please see

I applied that patch on top of 6.6.160-rc1, and this fixed the issue for me: The resulting kernel booted fine, and seems
to work without problem.
Or maybe you should even consider to take the whole series (3 patches), which are:
Dan Williams (3):
sysfs: Fix crash on empty group attributes array
sysfs: Document new "group visible" helpers
sysfs: Introduce DEFINE_SIMPLE_SYSFS_GROUP_VISIBLE()
