I merged the two, but dropped the Kconfig patch.

We have no Kconfig for other mixer stuff, and most likely the users
will enable simply all mixer supported devices.

It might make sense to introduce a Kconfig if we build each vendor
mixer stuff as an individual module, though.  Until then, let's try
to reduce Kconfig.

BTW, do you see an issue Faaris reported for the recent kernel?
