Subject: [PATCH v6 03/10] perf session: define bytes_transferred and bytes_compressed metrics
Date: Tue, 5 Mar 2019 12:25:11 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <9d05f6d3-28ff-8ba8-f1d7-64b558fb4167@linux.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <8b8a4f51-9606-1940-7cc9-40c2c67bfc92@linux.intel.com>
Define bytes_transferred and bytes_compressed metrics to calculate
comp_ratio=transferred/compressed in the end of the data collection.
bytes_transferred accumulates the amount of bytes that was exracted
from the mmaped kernel buffers for compression. bytes_compressed
accumulates the amount of bytes that was received after applying
compression to move to a storage.
