Subject: Ooops on with 2.4.22 when using rsync over ssh
Date: Tue, 20 Apr 2004 14:30:39 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <AMEKICHCJFIFEDIBLGOBOEAJCPAA.mgix@mgix.com> (raw)

The raw and ksymoops'ed oops are at the end of this message.

It happens with a Fedora install and it is 100% reproducible
with my config (happens every single time I launch the rsync command below).

The exact version of the kernel it happens with is:

Linux version 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl (bhcompile@tweety.devel.redhat.com) (gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-6)) #1 Wed Feb 18 16:38:32 EST 2004

It happens when I launch the following command from a remote machine:

rsync \
        -v \
        -c \
        -a \
        -e 'ssh -p 2222 -l root' \
        --stats \
        --delete \
        --dry-run \
        --compress \
        --progress \
        --numeric-ids \
        --no-whole-file \
        --no-blocking-io \
        machine_that_oopses:/data \
        /v/backup/data \
