I've attempted to boot a 2.6.17-rc1 and 2.6.17-rc1-git12
kernel on an iBook G4 (1.33GHz model). I am unable to
get it booted and there is no kernel Oops. The machine
simply freezes.

I can't grab a 'dmesg' but I can see the last few lines
of output:

Mount-cache hash table entries: 512
device-tree: Duplicate name in /cpus/PowerPC,G4@0, renamed to 
"l2-cache#1"
NET: Registered protocol family 16

Any ideas? I'll provide as much information as I can
when requested.
