Of course, the first thing I thought of was that I'd been sold some dodgy RAM. But I've run memtest86 (version 3.2) over the RAM and no errors were found. Do I have some failing or broken hardware, have I done something stupid, or is this a bug? I'm not sure what information would help in diagnosing this problem that I'm seeing, so included below are: uname -a lspci -vv /proc/cpuinfo /proc/config.gz Let me know if there is any other info that could help.
