Subject: [PATCH 7/9] oprofile/x86: return -EBUSY if counters are already reserved
Date: Thu, 4 Mar 2010 16:22:09 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1267716131-17908-8-git-send-email-robert.richter@amd.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1267716131-17908-1-git-send-email-robert.richter@amd.com>

In case a counter is already reserved by the watchdog or perf_event
subsystem, oprofile ignored this counters silently. This case is
handled now and oprofile_setup() now reports an error.
