Subject: [PATCH tip/core/rcu 08/12] rcu: Eliminate rcu_state ->orphan_lock
Date: Mon, 24 Jul 2017 14:51:52 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1500933116-11642-8-git-send-email-paulmck@linux.vnet.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20170724215139.GA10881@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
The ->orphan_lock is acquired and released only within the
rcu_migrate_callbacks() function, which now acquires the root rcu_node
structure's ->lock. This commit therefore eliminates the ->orphan_lock
in favor of the root rcu_node structure's ->lock.
