If you have the option - use APM not ACPI. ACPI is larger, and right now
being experimental code - fairly buggy

I agree ACPI sucks, but I have a SMP box that I need to be able to
powerdown remotely. Is there any reason APM can't do that? I mean, I
understand APM was never meant for SMP, but... ?
