If you really care about that, try:

	/* Be paranoid in case someone uses strlen(&("FOO"[0])) */
	#define strlen(x) \
		(__builtin_constant_p(x) && sizeof(x) != sizeof(char *)
		? (sizeof(x) - 1) : __strlen(x))
