Hi,
I am pretty new in coding for the kernel and I was wandering what is the
_deep_ meaning of:
"Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address XXXX"
and
"Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference".
If somebody could explain this to me, I would be very pleased ! :)
PS: I know already how to trace an Oops by using ksymoops. But these two
errors are puzzling me and I would like to understand more about it.

I am upgrade to 2.4.19-rc1-ac6, and some time, normaly when i make heavy
use of memory, kernel hang a say:
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address XXXXXXX
my hardware is AMD k7 xp 2000+ , and msi kte ultra, with promise fasttrack
tx2000, 1gb ddr.

Hello ,
I have Debian Potato with kernel 2.2.21. In high disc activity I have
in my logs: unable to handle... (see above). The system doesn's work
and I have to restart it (motherboard Asus A7M266-D, Athlon MP 1800,
1GB RAM, Adaptec AIC-7892 Ultra 160/m SCSI host adapter and IBM disc).
In a low disc activity system work properly. When i utar a big archive
(about 1GB) the system crasch. If you have any idea how to fix this
pleas send me a replay.
