2.4.28-rc2 introduced a warning in the net code on non-SMP:

    net/core/neighbour.c:1809: warning: unused variable `tbl'

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But
when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.
