I' d say "mb();" is "rmb();wmb();"

and they work so that:

CPU 0

a = TRUE;
wmb();
b = TRUE;

CPU 1

if (b) {
	rmb();
	assert(a);
}

is correct. Possibly that is not a complete definition though.
