Subject: [PATCH AUTOSEL for 3.18 14/16] ASoC: wm_adsp: Don't overrun firmware file buffer when reading region data
Date: Wed, 15 Nov 2017 02:46:16 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20171115024607.6064-14-alexander.levin@verizon.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20171115024607.6064-1-alexander.levin@verizon.com>
From: Richard Fitzgerald <rf@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
[ Upstream commit 1cab2a84f470e15ecc8e5143bfe9398c6e888032 ]
Protect against corrupt firmware files by ensuring that the length we
get for the data in a region actually lies within the available firmware
file data buffer.
