Resolve several coding style issues flagged by checkpatch.pl:
- Replace spaces with tabs for proper code indentation.
- Add missing blank lines after variable declarations.
- Replace bare 'unsigned' with 'unsigned int'.
- Fix suspect code indentation in conditional statements.

No functional changes are introduced.
