Builds, boots and works on my 2-socket Ivy Bridge Xeon E5-2697 v2 server. No dmesg oddities or regressions found.

Tested on 3 amd64 systems (my DIY home NAS, my Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen
1, and an Apple MacBook Air 13" 2017). Working well, no regressions
observed.
