Subject: [PATCH v4 30/31] accel: ethosu: Require active weight streams setup
Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2026 08:36:17 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261029-ethosu-fixes-v4-30-4aa25e22578e@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261029-ethosu-fixes-v4-0-4aa25e22578e@kernel.org>

A secondary weight or scale stream must be explicitly disabled or
configured when the hardware uses it. Otherwise, stale stream state from
a previous command stream can bypass buffer bounds validation.

Derive the active stream count from the NPU configuration on U85 and
from PARALLEL_MODE on U65. Require every active stream's length command,
while allowing a zero length to disable it.

Fixes: 5a5e9c0228e6 ("accel: Add Arm Ethos-U NPU driver")
