[PATCH 0/8] mm: remove newly-unused page wrapper APIs

[Tal Zussman]

After some folio conversions done last cycle (namely ceph, f2fs, btrfs,
fuse, and page_io.c), there are a number of newly-unused page APIs.
Let's remove them and update comments as necessary.

Patches 1 and 8 are taken from the ceph writeback folio series [1],
along with tags.

Yeah, the focus will be on fixes. But smaller stuff like this or some other
things we wanted to get finished for a while that are easy to handle can go in.

All bigger work likely has to wait.

Given that this is purely dead code removal I'd actually vote for
fast tracking this into 7.3-rc.  Unused API better be removed ASAP
before people start using them again.

I agree with this sentiment.

Although given how long the folio equivalents have existed, I don't
think it should be too much of an issue. AI is decent at catching
this sort of usage of "legacy" apis. I'm not sure if sashiko checks
though.
