The PCA85074A uses the same register map as the PCA85073A and can reuse the existing PCF85063A configuration. The series documents the new compatible and adds the corresponding I2C and OF match entries. No changes to the timekeeping or alarm implementation are needed. Tested on i.MX91S and i.MX93 platforms. Why haven't > you used one? I overlooked the fallback approach when adding the new compatible. I added explicit driver match entries, but they reuse the existing configuration without any chip-specific changes. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll verify the compatibility with PCA85073A and update the binding to use a fallback in v2 if confirmed. Regards, Rodrigo ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread
