A coupel of months ago, I saw patches for an FPGA loading device driver.
I'd like to test this on some hardware I have, but I forgot to save the
patches and I can't find a recent set of FGPA driver loading patches.
Can someone point me on the right direction?

Have you tried to search mail list archives (google://"FPGA
site:lkml.org"). I think there shouldn't be many messages about that
because FPGA is relatively rare topic in this list so you'll not get
many messages to parse by hand.
