The Renesas RZ/G3E ("R9A09G047") SoC supports 1x channel with OTG/DRD
and 1x channel with host interface.
Add the EHCI, OHCI, USB2.0 PHY and reset control nodes for USB2.0 channels
in R9A09G047 SoC DTSI.

Enable USB2.0 support on the RZ/G3E EVK board. The USB1B_1A_HOST and
USB5_4_HOST connectors support host operation only, while USB0_OTG
supports both host and peripheral operation.
renesas-smarc2.dtsi is shared by all boards based on the RZ SMARC
Carrier II Board. USB2.0 is not yet supported on the RZ/G3L SMARC
EVK, so disable the common USB2.0 nodes in its board DTS until proper
support is added.

v2->v3:
- No changes just rebased on top of next-20260908.
v1->v2:
- Disabled RZ/G3L common nodes from r9a08g046l48-smarc.dts in this way
we can drop placeholder patch.
- Update commit body.
- Improved usb20_pins, usb21_pins comments.

Looks like U2H[01]_INT and U2H[01]_WAKEON_INT are missing,
but they are also not listed in the DT bindings?
The rest LGTM.

While these two signals are wired to the SLG46108, which generates
USB1_EN_OC# from that, the latter does not seem to be wired on the
carrier board (SMARC_MODULE_CN P67)?

Ok, I see clock names fck and usb_x1 for non RZ/G2L SoCs.
Shall we create a patch with pclk and hclk for all RZ/G2L SoCs (binding + SoC DTSI)??

These interrupts are not part of UCOM module, that is the reason it is not listed in
DT bindings.

RZ/G3L USB2.0 binding patch is not queued.
Shall I send a new version without RZ/G3L patches ie, using placeholders [1] ?

You are correct, USB1_EN_OC# -> P67 is not wired on the carrier board.
I will drop usb21_pins in v4.

That might be a good idea, to unblock mainlining of RZ/G3E USB.
However, it looks like the only missing piece is DT bindings for
"renesas,r9a08g046-usbphy-ctrl"? How come we ended up with
a driver in linux-next without bindings?

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But
when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.

USB phy ctrl Binding + driver patches[1] are still not queued.
But dsi binding patch is queued without the driver change[2]

I will send v4 then, taking old [1] + PATCH 3/4 + PATCH 4/4 from this series.
PATCH 4/4 reworked to address your comments.
