Actually, I suspect the situation is somewhat simpler. It is possible
transmet.com may only have one mailbox that everything funnels into.
Their mail is hosted by "registeredsite.com", which has a somewhat
invalid web presence (IP address = 10.0.0.1).

Interesting. In my battles against spam, a *HUGE* precentage has been linked
with registeredsite.com. Wouldn't be surprised if they were harvesting
addresses, or some other such vile stuffs.

It looks like the CC in "[RFC] New locking primitive for 2.5" by Martin
Wirth is the culprit.
Once this thread ends, or people change the address manually in their
replies the problem ends.
