Subject: [PATCH 04/10] ACPI: Limit access to custom_method
Date: Mon, 19 Aug 2013 12:10:13 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1376928619-3775-4-git-send-email-matthew.garrett@nebula.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1376928619-3775-1-git-send-email-matthew.garrett@nebula.com>
custom_method effectively allows arbitrary access to system memory, making
it possible for an attacker to circumvent restrictions on module loading.
Disable it if any such restrictions have been enabled.
