Nit: the following code looks cleaner. Since bits [48:0] are identical
between the GLOBAL_CTRL and GLOBAL_STATUS MSRs, follow the existing
pattern of deriving global_status_rsvd from global_ctrl_rsvd, then
handle bits [63:49] separately.
